Ng degree She s not looking for love but she has noticed Buck whenever he has stopped at the diner When she finds ut that her connection to a murdered man may put her in danger she finds it hard to believe I liked the way she stood up to Buck at the beginning not automatically believing everything he was telling her I also liked the way that White House Years (Henry Kissingers Memoirs once she did believe she was willing to do whatever was needed She had a very logical mind and was a big help to Buck in figuringut the puzzle f what was going n With the amount Scab of time she was spending with Buck as his pretend girlfriend she found that her attraction to him was growing stronger She knew that he would be leavingnce the mystery was solved but it didn t stop her falling for himBuck is a self described bulldog When he was an MP he wouldn t give up In a World Created by a Drunken God on an investigation until it was done He was asked by his supervisor at the trucking company to checkn something connected to the murder When he realized that Hayley might be in danger he was determined to protect her He had be. Ver is dead a sexy former military cop needs her help to solve the murder and she might be next n the hit listThere's something big going down in this sleepy county Buck Devlin needs to ke.
Once again I find myself going back and catching up n stories I missed from the days when I could afford to buy Harleuin Silhouette series the day they hit book stores The lder I got I bypassed these stories to read new authors who wrote with violence sex fantasy worlds and paranormal situations What I have found going back to some f my favorites is there was just as much sex and violence but it was put in a gentler context Old series such as the Conard County Giant Peach Yodel one finds me revising withld characters catching up Sinai and Zion on their lives and meeting many newnes If you loved these types f stories sit down someday and re read some f them and you ll realize why you fell in love with the romance genre in the first place ummm nothing to say really It s a harleuin what is there to say Miniseries Conard County The Next GenerationCategory Suspense Seemed a bit two dimensional And what an verly complex plot 35 Good book I liked both Haley and Buck Hayley has led a uiet life working as a waitress at the truck stop and working n a nursi. If he was murdered you're the loose endWaitress Haley Martin has made a small safe life for herself no big surprises no falling in love In ne night that calm world is shattered A truck dri.
En noticing her for months so asking her to provide him cover was no hardship He didn t expect his attraction to her to turn to so uickly He worried that things he did put her in danger but he still stuck to her I liked the way that he listened to her ideas rather than just depending n his Iniquity own experience Mostf the book was spent n the mental activity f puzzling ut who the bad guys were and just what they were doing Most f the heart pounding action came in the last couple chapters I really enjoyed the differences I also liked seeing a few familiar faces from previous Conard County books First this was a terrible title It was a pretty Annual Report of the Officers of the Town of Holderness, N. H: Year Ending January 31, 1937 (Classic Reprint) ok book though I liked how the relationship between Haley and Buck developed I really wanted to know about what happened with the people from thelder books in the series I must have missed uite a few in between I enjoyed reading What She Saw Kept me Gardening with Shape, Line and Texture: A Plant Design Sourcebook on the edgef my seat Something was going n in the truck stop parking lot where Haley is a waitress She helps Buck figure ut what was going Ep Haley close and he's had worse cover stories than pretending to be in love with a beautiful blonde But the danger they expose the harder it is to remember their love story is just a cove.
